After a great deal of planning and research, Fintrano launched in April 2025. The past 15 months has sped by. The team are busy supporting existing Fintrano users, as well as networking to spread the word to new ones. Fintrano is also undergoing continual updates so that it's as helpful as can be, whilst also competing with other software. It's an ever-evolving product to keep up with changing demands on trades and mobile service businesses.
Every one of those 10,000 jobs represents someone earning a living, helping a customer and growing their business.
This 10,000 job milestone has flown past, but we do want to take a moment thank all of our excellent Fintrano users, without whom we wouldn't have a milestone to celebrate. The small businesses, the sole traders and the larger mobile service businesses who have taken the leap to for try Fintrano when it was still a new platform. You all trusted that it would elevate your customer service and be the essential tool that helps you stay organised, in touch with customers and consistently gaining 5 star reviews.
Every one of those 10,000 jobs that's passed through Fintrano represents someone earning a living, helping a customer and growing their business.
The number also represents the thousands of customers who have received a visit from a company using Fintrano. This means that businesses are trusting Fintrano to keep their customers in the loop when they put a job in the diary. Since every job generates 4 text messages to the customer (confirmation, reminder, 'on my way' tracking notification, and feedback request) 40,000 text messages have been sent over the past year! That's a whole lot of info provided to waiting customers from the 'very professional' businesses they are working with. This is the reason why we started Fintrano; we wanted good businesses to look great to their customers. Having been on the end of great customer service, we wanted to make sure that small businesses and sole traders had affordable access to similar tools.
Although Fintrano has developed more as a product since we launched, we've worked hard to ensure that our signature simplicity and ease of use remain. Often, as software offers more features to users, it becomes harder to use, and more expensive. That might be okay for large businesses, but, we have always been keen to be accessible for sole traders who need keep tight control over outgoings to make every job worthwhile. Brand new users can easily get started managing their jobs, their teams (if they have a team) and their customers.
Technology should work around the business, not the other way round.
At Fintrano HQ, we spend a lot of time talking to real people who use it. We're growing rapidly, but we still know many of our customers personally, so we're always learning about their business needs. It's hugely important that we continue to be the best choice of job management software for them.
What's next?
To help Fintrano users get paid quicker and reduce admin, we're soon going to include the ability to generate invoices in the app with SynaptoPay payments. We're also introducing Quickbooks integration and Xero integration to help reduce manual processes and mean you don't have to duplicate customer information in different systems.
Fintrano is always evolving, we've spoken to enough engineers working in rural locations to know that mobile signal isn't always available. With new updates, there's now better offline working, meaning you can keep working without data because syncing is automatic once reception returns.
It makes us a genuine competitor to the bigger job management platforms whilst keeping an easy-to-use interface and staying affordable enough for sole traders.
Still just 80p per job
As Fintrano expands, we will remain affordable for smaller businesses. We believe that good software should make financial sense at every size. At 80p per job, Fintrano stays affordable while helping businesses appear more professional and save on valuable admin time.
